Haunted Houses: The Strip Clubs of The Spirit World đź‘»
In the spirit of Halloween this month, let’s talk about a spooky topic: haunted houses.
And yes, this blog post may push your buttons.
It’s very common for people who are on a spiritual journey to delve into many different dimensions and energies – fairies 🧚🏼‍♀️, elves 🧝🏼‍♀️, angels 🪽, ghosts 👻, and more. And depending on how you interact with these beings, it can be very beneficial for your spiritual and physical progression.
But, it can also be very easy to get lost in different realms simply because they are entertaining. Even worse, we can become addicted to experiencing supernatural things that are damaging to us. What I’m specifically talking about is the world of Ouija boards, ghost hunters, and haunted houses. They sound like a fun supernatural experience, but in reality, they can be extremely damaging to our energetic body, which can cause unforeseen mental, emotional, and physical problems.
I believe that every human on this planet is here for a finite time, to experience this physical density – to learn the difference between light and dark – and then our physical body dies, and our spirit continues on higher realms to continue learning and progressing.
So, what does this mean for the spirits that hang back and don’t continue their spiritual progression? There’s something on this earth that they are choosing over the light. And if they’re staying on this planet to haunt an area, they probably don’t have the best intentions or the highest integrity. It’s no different than the employee who chooses to stay home and smoke weed and skip their shift at work – you probably wouldn’t want to hire them for your own company because they don’t have the highest integrity and aren’t reliable.
Why do I advise people to stay away from haunted houses? I seriously compare them to strip clubs. Like a visit to the strip club, it sounds like a good idea ahead of time, and maybe it’s entertaining and you get a rush of adrenaline while you’re there, but you always leave feeling cheap and wanting to burn your clothes. Lord only knows what fluids and bacteria are floating around those places.
The same goes for a haunted house. It’s energetically dirty. It’s low vibrational. Hell, it might even be possessed by evil spirits. There’s potential for you to leave with energetic sludge all over you that can cause mental, emotional, and physical issues that may just coincidentally show up after your supernatural experience.
And in old Pagan beliefs and traditions, Halloween or Samhain is the time when the veils of the dimensions are at their thinnest. The tradition of dressing up as ghosts, ghouls, and monsters on Halloween comes from people wanting to scare away the bad spirits from their homes and neighbourhoods, surely not to invite them in.
So instead of focusing on the “entertaining” supernatural experiences, I instead recommend focusing in on your own spiritual entourage. Every person has at least 4 core spirit guides that are actively trying to guide you towards a greater physical and spiritual life. They have your best interests in mind.
Take time to meditate and connect with them:
What is their essence/archetype?
Do they have a name?
What is their specialty?
Why were they assigned to guide you?
…… Can you answer those questions about your own spiritual family? Because you should probably be able to answer them before you go off trying to learn about spirits you may never interact with again.
Don’t fall for the cheap floozy spirit at a haunted house that’s tempting you for a good time when you have perfectly good spirit guides at home that love and care for you. Just because something feels good or is entertaining, doesn’t mean that it is actually good for you. So, the next time you’re offered to go check out a spooky place or go to a girl’s night that involves a Ouija board or an edible to help you relax and find yourself, think about the quality of spirits you could be engaging with, and whether or not it will serve your highest divine nature.
Wishing you a blessed and high vibrational October & Spooky Season,
