The same goes for harnessing the energy of the seasons and moon cycles. You want to connect to the astronomy that is around you, as a cosmic being, to harness the energy that is most present to propel you further. You don’t have to, but it surely helps.
The full moon is a powerful time to look at the subconscious programs that are running our life. The light of the moon illuminates the things we have buried in the subconscious, and each full moon has a different energy that we can access and use to our advantage.
🪐 The Energy & Essence of Capricorn
Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign, ruled by Saturn, the planet of time, responsibility, and discipline. It’s associated with ambition and long-term goals, structure, leadership, legacy, personal accountability, and self-mastery. If you’re in your late 20s like myself, you’ve probably recently gone through your first Saturn Return or you’re currently going through it. A Saturn return is a 2ish year stretch where we can truly step into adulthood and take accountability for the life you are creating. This full moon is no different. Needing a fresh start to building your dream life? This is it.
But this Capricorn Full Moon isn’t just about simply hustling and working hard, it’s about meaningful, soul-aligned work and the strength and discipline that it takes to stay committed to the path that serves you best. That means you can still enjoy this season’s binge of Love Island, so long as it doesn’t distract you from your grander vision.
The key to success with working with Capricorn comes in its symbolism of the mythical sea-goat. Goats are excellent at climbing mountains, and the mermaid’s tail that symbolizes the beauty and depth of the sea. This sign is here to remind you to dig deep into Knowing Thyself so that you can climb higher in life. My own interpretation is that you need to explore that which is unseen within you (the subconscious) so that you can climb higher in the light. After all, climbing a mountain with unnecessary baggage isn’t easy and sometimes impossible.
So, during this Full Moon, it’s a good time to reflect on your long-term vision. What legacy are you building? Is your legacy aligned with what will truly serve your mission on this earth and your God-given talents? If it’s not serving you, it’s time to pivot.
It’s also a great time to ground into your structure. Create a plan. Get organized. Build habits and rituals that serve your mission. Build a strategy for your spiritual intentions so it’s not all “love and light with my crown chakra open,” but also “why is my life a mess?” at the same time.
